Alexander Borodin was a Russian composer and chemist. He was a member of The Five (The Mighty Handful), which consists of Balakire, Cui, Mussorgsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Borodin. He had composed two string quartet, and the third movement of No.2 in D Major, Notturno, is very famous among his works and also among all string quartets.
