Julius Klengel (1859-1933) was a German cellist who is most famous for his etudes and cello conerts. He was the leading cellist of the Gewanthaus Orchestra This piece is very beautiful and pietistic. It has been several times played in the cello concerts with 1000 cellists in Kobe, Japan.
